Take a magical journey to the North Pole this Christmas without taking more than a few steps. Visit Eureka! The Museum for Children in Halifax, West Yorkshire where, with a little imagination, you’ll cross land and sea to reach the home of Father Christmas.
Look out for Arctic foxes, ringed seals and even polar bears as you travel to the cold and icy north. Your journey will be worth it when you arrive at Father Christmas’ magical grotto where he’ll ask about your travels and find out what you would like for Christmas this year.
The Eureka! Christmas Grotto will be open as follows:
Weekdays from 1-19 December, 3pm-4.30pm
Weekends from 6-21 December, 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm
Weekdays 22-23 December, 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm
Entrance to the main museum is free for children on purchase of a grotto ticket, priced £5 per child and £2 per child for under-3s. Grotto tickets include a free gift and adult admissions apply.
