From February 2008 the hugely talented man with the big personality, Omid Djalili, will be back on the road touring with a brand new show. Loved by audiences throughout the UK, Omid is infamous for his fast paced wit, impressions, dance routines and occasional vocal outbursts.
Following his Saturday night BBC One series, The Omid Djalili Show, which was broadcast for 6 weeks from November 17th and the release of his highly acclaimed DVD No Agenda on November 26th Omid will be returning to the stage on February 1st with his new and exciting live stand-up show culminating with a one night only appearance at The Hammersmith Apollo on April 18th.
Omid Djalili is an award-winning British-Iranian comedian and star of the stage, television and films. He presently holds the box office record at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from his show 'No Agenda' with ticket sales above the 16,500 mark; this then transferred to a total sell-out nationwide tour, including two shows at the London Palladium.
His film credits include, 'The Mummy', 'Gladiator', 'Anita and me', 'Over The Hedge' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean III''. His television credits are numerous, and, as well as his 2007 BBC1 show, include being only the second British comedian to have recorded his own HBO "Special" in the States. Omid also co-starred with Whoopi Goldberg in NBC's sitcom 'Whoopi' and on Jack Dee's "Live at the Apollo" on BBC1.
