Being hypnotised isn’t necessarily about being paraded on stage in a daze and impersonating a chicken for the delight of an audience.
It can be a defining factor in finding and solving the root cause of those nagging stresses that you carry around with you for years…finding out why you are the way you are and understanding yourself better.
There’s now growing evidence that hypnotherapy can aid the body’s natural healing processes and its credibility with the medical profession is continually growing, as the links between mind and body are acknowledged.
Hypnotherapy can be used in many ways, but is best known for the treatment of:
• Habits, phobias and fears
• Anxiety, stress and insomnia
• Self esteem, confidence, health and well being
• Blocked thinking / creativity
• Pain relief, physical discomfort, feeling low and depressed
Depression is often treated using drugs which raise levels of hormones in the brain which make the patient feel better; however, this just masks the symptoms rather than treats the root cause.
Hypnotherapy makes everything clearer, and once patients know the cause of their problems, they can take steps to make changes that are relevant and will ultimately, change their lives.
It’s also great just for relaxation. Hypnotherapy puts the body in a completely relaxed state – and there aren’t many opportunities for that to happen.
Hypnotherapy allows the body to ‘remember’ how to relax; and in today’s busy and stressful world this is invaluable.
